Porch Sessions

My porch session include two outfits. One nice outfit and one casual outfit. Usually we would talk colors, what's in style and then most of my clients would go shopping. Most of us are only shopping at the grocery and hardware store, and those don't typically present the best opportunities to pick up new clothes for the kids and yourself.

Well don't worry! For your nice outfit, it's Spring/Summer here and find something cute you have in your closet. You should think about the color of your house. Since you are going to be standing right in front of it. You want your outfit to stand out and not blend in. For example my house has a reddish brick, so I would choose blue or greens in darker tones for my family. If you aren't sure what would look good with your house, send me a picture and I can suggest colors for you. We can also have a Zoom meeting where you can show me what is in your closet and I can make suggestions in real time.

And by all means if you want to go shopping online and buy something. You can do that too. I will happily put together a mood board for you with outfits or colors that look good together.

Now for the casual look. I have captured your family in their finest and it's time to capture what is actually happening at home. Personally I am living in workout clothes and half the time I have helmet head. What I am looking for is what you normally look like during this time. Crazy hair, mismatched socks, t-shirts inside out and backwards and masks. These portraits are meant to be fun. Despite all of the different changes we are dealing with, we are having more honest family time and lots more fun! And this is what I want to capture.
