Week 1 Quarantine
I can say this is not how I imagined spending my 40th Birthday let alone the 2-3 months after it. Despite my family's efforts it really was a high stress weekend. And the first couple days of home schooling was an adjustment for both my son and myself. The hardest part though is not working. For the past 10 years I have put my heart and soul into this company. I spend several hours every day either helping clients, creating something new, editing or shooting. Owning your own business is a hustle. You never take a day off, you are always thinking ahead to the next holiday, season, promotion. To have that stop in its tracks from 100 mph to 0 has created some serious whiplash.

So enough of the whining. I am ramping up my personal project for the year and going out with my camera every week. Something that just was not possible before. I am returning today to my snow pictures as it just snowed and I was able to capture something new. Every time it snows it is a little different than the time before. My son and I notice how one sled works really well but another one doesn't. For this reason we have 3 different sleds for one kiddo, haha.

In the past I have found it frustrating because I am not always able to get out when I want to capture snow as it is different or interesting. But this snow was fun! It seemed to get stuck in my garden wire enclosure and it created a look I haven't seen in awhile. It was really cold when I was out, but I enjoyed what I was able to capture.
I honestly think I had more fun today though. Everything is melting so quickly and I love how the light twinkles in drops.

It was only like this for about 1/2 an hour. I was really lucky to catch the rainbows too.

I hope you will continue to follow me on my journey. But most of all I hope that this finds you all well, happy and healthy.
